Malta is an amazing and fascinating island full of prehistoric ruins, roman ruins, and interesting towns. We had a great trip and I highly recommend going.
Valetta is the capital, and was mostly created by the crusaders.
St Johns Co-Cathederal is the most spectacular cathederal I've ever visited. We had a 2 hour guided tour of it, and still didn't see all of it. It contains lots of exceptional art work as well as the most lavish cathederal.
Vittoriosa is right across the harbour from Valetta. You can take a cute gondala between the two cities. It is famous for St Angelo's Fort'
Hagar Qim is runis which are over 5,000 years old. It is truly awe inspiring. It claims to be the remains or the oldest inhabited city.
Mdina was spectacular
St Pauls was the most amazing Roman catacombes. As well as Christian buirals there were also Jewish and Pagan.
